Amy C Crooks writes historical fiction rooted in real family history — the kind of stories that come from twenty years spent tracing actual ancestors through actual records and DNA. Amy is also a genealogy researcher in her own right, working across both traditional research and genetic genealogy, and the two sides of her work feed each other: the fiction grows out of the research, and the research keeps deepening because of the fiction.
Amy C Crooks lives in north Idaho, where several of her own stories are set, and works as a paralegal by day.
